The purpose of this article for anthropological and cognitive linguistics is to focus mainly on the interactive basis of communication. Understanding lies leads to the basics of human communication behavior. Unlike politeness and other non-aggressive semiotic modes of expression, lying carries the assumption of fraught intentions. The proposed model takes into account the nature of lies as a special type of cognitive scenario of the speaker, aimed at gaining an advantage over the addressee. The structures of false utterance are defined as non-linear systems of knowledge and construction of speakers, using discursive and behavioral techniques of two different (true and false) communities. The difference between what is said and what is pragmatically calculated indirectly is the most important aspect for a false statement. Research in the field of artificial intelligence confirms the statement made in this article that cognitive structures are key in determining the principles of understanding utterances. From this point of view, it was found that the intentions of the liars can be reconstructed based on the propositional analysis of the cognitive structures used.
Keywords:false utterance; cognitive structure; true and false identity; proposition; actual and possible world; discourse; illegitimacy.
