Social mobility of merchants in the late 18th – early 20th centuries (based on materials from the Vladimir province)

The aim of the study is to identify the ways of social vertical mobility of the merchants of the Vladimir province in the XIX – early XX centuries. on the basis of archival materials. The study of this topic will contribute to the understanding of the diverse social transformations in imperial Russia.
