Political structure of the Roman Republic V-VI centuries. bc. (senate, commissions, masters)

The article is devoted to the study of the features of the construction and functioning of the political structure of the Roman Republic of the 5th-6th centuries. BC. Special attention in the research process is paid to the senate, comitia, magistrates. The powers of the Senate and its distinctive characteristics are considered. Also, special emphasis is placed on the institution of consuls, which occupied a special place in the political and legal system of the Roman Republic. In addition, special emphasis is placed on the concept of imperium, which defined the fullness of the highest executive power in the Roman state.
