Christian Radical Organizations in Africa: Antibalaka

Many researchers are convinced that radicalism, extremism and terrorism are historically not inherent in the nature of Christianity, as a religion, worldview and civilization. But the history of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) in Northern Ireland, the Basque Terrorist Group (ETA) in Spain and Anti-Balaka in the CAR have destroyed that confidence. Antibalaka is an armed militia formed in the Central African Republic by Christians and adherents of local traditional beliefs after the rise to power in the civil war of the self-proclaimed Muslim President Michel Jotodia, the leader of the Selek group. On the basis of the conflict between Seleki and Antibalaki in the Central African Republic in 2013, an interfaith and criminal war began, which continues to this day.
