Concept of hybrid word in the German-speaking world based of English

Foreign words, getting into the recipient language, can be fixed and assimilated over time. German and domestic linguists have studied this process for more than half a century and noted that not only English loanwords fall into the German language, but also parts of words that are embedded in the system of German morphology. Many linguists have called the new portmanteau words “hybrid words”.
