Repressive state policy in the field of higher education in the Southern Urals in 1930-1934

The article considers state policy regarding higher education in the Southern Urals in 1930-1934. Political repressions in the field of higher education in the Southern Urals significantly complicated the development of the higher school of the region: some teachers were shot; some were forbidden to teach by hanging various kinds of "labels"; the students of the institutes suffered, which for the slightest political hesitation everywhere expelled from universities; higher education institutions have lost experienced leaders.
