Comparative analysis of research experience on the problem of motivation of professional pedagogical activity in Russia and abroad

The article presents a comparative analysis of domestic and foreign studies on the problem of motivation of professional pedagogical activity (MPPD), identifies the main methodological approaches and theories applied to the study of the structural and content characteristics of MPPD, external and internal factors affecting the motivation of teachers and the effectiveness of pedagogical activity, describes the main directions of research and their results.
