The article discusses the issues of the work of the Society of Doctors of the Yenisei province on the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases in Krasnoyarsk. For the first time, data concerning specific preventive measures to reduce infectious diseases among the population are presented. The analysis of mortality in Krasnoyarsk at the end of the XIX century is presented.
