Foreign text listening skills for students within the requirements for the international French exam DALF C1

This article aims to consider the features of teaching such a type of speech activity as listening in accordance with the requirements for passing the International Exam in a Foreign (French) Language DALF C1. The paper notes the special value of authentic materials in preparation for the auditory part of the test, since on the basis of texts created by native speakers for native speakers, students learn the tempo and intonation features of foreign speech. As sources of authentic materials, the article names open Internet resources that can be collected by a teacher into podcasts. As a result of the study, the author formulated some methodological recommendations, the observance of which will make the preparation for the exam more effective.
