Reliability and efficiency of protective actions in judo fighting

The article presents a study of the reliability and effectiveness of protective actions used by highly qualified judokas at high-ranking competitions. Based on the information received, the most effective defensive actions were established, and their reliability was determined in the process of competitive fights. At the same time, in the course of the study, the most frequently performed technical actions were established, aimed at repelling an opponent's attack, which serve as an active form of defense. The practical significance of defensive actions, which are the main knocking factor aimed at repelling the opponent's attacks, is revealed. The characteristics of active and passive defense are presented in order to further correct the technical and tactical training of athletes through the recommendations developed by us aimed at intensifying the training process. Thus, the studies of the composition and effectiveness of defensive actions in competitive fights presented in the article can be useful in planning the training process of judokas. At the same time, it is advisable to take into account the use of not only defensive actions, but also the use of technical and tactical manipulations aimed at overcoming the opponent's attacks with the subsequent implementation of a successful throw.
