The article raises the question of the formation of such a significant aspect of the life of the modern university space as tolerance. Tolerance is considered not as a set of ready-made norms, rules and ways of behavior, but as a creative active process that forms a special field of communication between all participants in the relationship. A group of students stands out especially for whom the use of digital technologies in life support is a professional prerogative. It is noted that this group of students is isolated from traditional methods of communication in favor of electronic resources. Due to the peculiarities of the indicated group of specialties, in order to adequately fit them into the integral educational process, it is necessary to build a special communication field, which takes into account the peculiarities of students' individual educational attitudes. It is noted that teachers who lead non-core disciplines in this course should be co-opted into the general field of communication by adding special content to the content of their subject that goes beyond the scope of a specific discipline, through which the desired communicative field is formed. The resolution of a large number of contradictions in the course of higher education, the priority of the "knowledge" approach to the detriment of the "activity" impoverishes the possibilities of higher education in its fundamental functions.
Keywords:Tolerance. Education at the university. Information and digital technologies. constructive contradictions. Field of communication.
