Solving the problems of negative environmental consequences of industrial development of cities of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Region) – Yugra in 1992-2020

Environmental problems are very relevant nowadays, especially in such oil-producing regions as HMAO-Yugra. As a result of the activities a lot has been done in recent years to improve the environmental situation. Thus, in the 2010s, the number of accidents on pipelines significantly decreased, work on the reclamation of solid household waste was established, the proportion of contaminated surface water significantly decreased, etc. However, there are many problems, including the insufficient use of innovative approaches (for example, within the framework of the Smart City system).
