Within the framework of the conducted research, an assessment of the importance of life and professional values that determine the direction of professional thinking, value-semantic professional self-determination in the process of professional activity of medical college students on health protection was revealed. With the directed formation of sanological thinking, future nurses form independent activities in the direction of health protection and its promotion, which allows them to preserve and maintain both their own health and the health of patients.
