The article presents the experience of applying the project technology based on an interdisciplinary approach to the preparation of bachelors in the direction of "social work" in the branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University in Nizhny Tagil. The project technology, being one of the main educational technologies, supports the competence-oriented approach in education, which is the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 39.03.02. Social work. Implementation of the project “Master class. Art therapeutic technologies in the training of social specialists”, the essence of which is the development and development of various art technologies by students with the participation of social specialists and the subsequent implementation of art technologies in social institutions in Nizhny Tagil allowed not only to successfully master a number of disciplines and to master professional competencies, but also showed a high interest of students, which had a positive impact on academic performance.
