Metaphorical Modeling of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Image in the Russian and English-language Media

This paper is dedicated to the comparative study of metaphorical models involved in describing the image of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in the Russian and English-language media. The metaphorical units are classified according to the theoretical basis of the study, described semantically, structurally and cognitively, and subsequently compared between the two languages. The metaphorical units are enumerated based on their categorization in the metaphor classification. In the final section, the conclusion is presented on the reasons for the established statistical distribution of metaphor types in the two languages.
