The article analyzes and compares the macrostructures of Chinese-Russian dictionaries published in Russia and China. It is noted that the authors of the dictionaries of this type in Russia and China follow the modern universal laws of dictionary structuring, and this leads to the fact that when comparing the dictionaries the features of similarity are revealed. The features of the differences between Russian and Chinese dictionaries by the place of publication are caused, first of all, by the effect of the addressee factor: the Chinese-Russian dictionaries created in Russia are designed for the Russian speakers, and the ones created in China are designed for the Chinese speakers. An important factor in the difference between these dictionaries turned out to be the lexicographic tradition different in both countries: the Chinese-Russian dictionaries published in Russia adhere to the traditional Russian graphical system, while the Chinese-Russian dictionaries published in China are built on the phonetic principle and are supplemented with an index according to the key system (部首检字法).
