The article deals with topical issues of the history of the Bulyar tyuba as part of the volost of the same name. It is emphasized that the tube got its name from the village of Bulyar, and the design of another tube (Mushuginsky) landed volost occurred later. Particular attention is paid to the formation of estates and the emergence of settlements. On specific examples, it is shown that the formation of estates ("bashkirs") went through different mechanisms (the transition of "bobyls" to the salary yasak, etc.). Interesting details of the transition of the yasak tatar Saltanay Isanov to the "bashkirs" are revealed. The allowance of representatives of different classes contributed to an increase in the number of both votchinniks and the population of the Bulyarskaya tyuba as a whole. Analyzing the shezhere of the genus Barage and the genus Aitugan Subakov's, the author noted the reliability of genealogical information and their role in identifying the circumstances of the emergence of settlements in the region. The Bulyarskaya tyuba began to be considered a separate tyuba of the volost of the same name only when the Mushuginskaya tyuba, formerly called the volost, was included in the latter.
