Teaching a foreign language to law students is a complex and rather multidimensional process. The article provides an overview of the features of the legal English language. It should be noted that methods of active learning and critical thinking should be used to form high-quality professionally-oriented foreign language communication. The article is dedicated to the study of the peculiarities of the application of these methods in foreign language classes in the field of jurisprudence.
