The author tries to fill the concept of "AI" with specific content, which helps to clarify the semantic differences between the concepts of "artificial intelligence" and "computer algorithms". The author emphasizes the importance of accurate word usage for a journalist and research scientist.
The author demonstrates the most common mistakes when using this term: generalization and unconscious substitution of terminology. Studying the problems of the functioning of the term "AI", the author sees the main reasons for the incorrect use of this term and a number of others related to robotic journalism in the lack of knowledge or ideas about artificial intelligence, replacing it with a synonym in order to avoid repetition and attract the attention of the audience.
