THE FORMATION OF INDIVIDUAL MNEMONICS BANK IN THE COURSE OF CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETATION TRAINING

The article puts forward the idea of formation of a “Memory Help” bank of individual mnemonics to train short-term memory of students of the programme “Translator in the field of professional communication”. Based on the analysis of Russian and foreign theoretical sources, the authors describe and systematize the rules for creating mnemonic exercises to train short-term memory. On the example of mining and geological specialties (21.05.04 "Mining", 21.05.02 "Applied Geology", 21.05.03.01 "Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits", 21.05.03.03 "Techniques and technology of exploration of mineral deposits") the authors present a developed set of mnemonic exercises for students of mining and geological specialties; give instructions for implementing the developed exercises in the educational process, and discuss the idea of personalized learning by creating an individual student’s trajectory.
