The author of the article, an active psychiatrist-narcologist, psychotherapist, conducted long-term observations in 6 medical centers in Moscow to specify the factors affecting the competencies of psychologists. The article contains a description of the study of the medical and pedagogical competence of psychocorrection of psychologists at medical centers, as well as the influence of one of the training factors on its change. The author of the article acts as a mentor, the learning factor is a separate psychotherapeutic rapport. Methods and organization of the study: comparative, observation, interviews, surveys, pedagogical experiment. A comparative analysis in four areas (psychologists, doctors, patients, administration) made it possible to characterize psychocorrection as a professional skill among psychologists in narcology, highlight evaluation criteria, a factor of pedagogical influence, and comprehend their features in the dynamics of a specialist’s development.
