The purpose of the study is to analyze the "out-of-text" connections of the author's concept "library" in the works of Yu.Dombrowski with a common cultural space of the era. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the image of the library is analyzed in a single text of the works of Yu.Dombrowski. The article discusses options for implementing the concept of "library" in the general text of the works of the analyzed author. As a result, it was found that the "library" in the work of the analyzed author is a "heap", an indefinite set of books, freely moving in space. This filling of the concept is explained, firstly, by socio-historical reasons, repression and everyday disorder of a person in the Soviet era, and secondly, by the cultural realities of the information age coming in the middle of the twentieth century.
