The article analyzes the state of spiritual and moral education of the individual in modern conditions. The spiritual and moral education of the younger generation as a pedagogical problem still remains among the most pressing in our country. In the light of modern social and cultural cataclysms, the problems of spiritual and moral formation and development of personality are becoming increasingly urgent. Practical knowledge and methodological principles accumulated in philosophy and pedagogy can provide theoretical and methodological assistance in the process of development and correction of the spiritual and moral sphere of the individual.
