The purpose of the study. To analyze the educational activities
of the 2nd Leningrad Artillery School (2nd LAU) (from October 1917 to
June 1941). The relevance of the topic is due to the need to consider
historical facts related to the training of officers in one of the leading
artillery universities of the USSR. Research methods: analytical, scientific,
historical and systematic. Key conclusions: during the considered period
of educational activity of this military educational institution, more than
4,000 artillery officers graduated and all this happened at. permanent
organizational and staff changes. Graduates of the school made a huge
contribution to the development of artillery, for example, one graduate of
1939, the commander of the battery of the 402 gau 6th artillery regiment,
Lieutenant Bulavsky Viktor Konstantinovich, for his feat accomplished on
December 28, 1939 by order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR No.
216 of 18.08.1967, was enrolled forever in the lists of the 1st battery of
the school.
