In this article, the optimization of the training process of cadets in the higher military educational institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation should be understood as the improvement activities, the provision of the necessary theoretical and practical tools, as well as the creation of conditions for the effective and efficient implementation of the training process in order to become a highly qualified military specialist. The authors have concretized the goal of optimizing the cadets' learning process, which is solved with the integrated use of technical training tools that give impetus to the effective development of educational and methodological materials. The fundamental approaches to optimizing the training process of cadets, as well as the activities of a military university that require new techniques and methods of their implementation, taking into account the requirements of the state order and educational military standards for military specialties, are described. The main task of the teaching staff is to apply the optimal approach in their activities.
