A number of approaches have been identified in working with the resources of a historical park: a communicative approach, aimed at developing communicative competence in schoolchildren and involves active interaction, student collaboration, exchange of information, discussion of different points of view; an activity-based approach implemented through a system of tasks aimed at developing the thinking of schoolchildren, teaching them search activities, and improving independent work skills; a personality-oriented approach expressed in presenting students with tasks at different levels of complexity - reproducing, transformative and creative-exploratory. To successfully work with the exhibitions of the halls of the historical park, from a methodological point of view, such methodological techniques as the method of display, the method of presenting material, and the method of explanation are highlighted. Visualization of the material contributes to its better assimilation and significantly increases interest in the subject matter.
