HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRIVATE TOY MUSEUMS IN RUSSIA: TRENDS AND PROSPECTS

The article presents the results of a study of the process of formation and development of private toy museums in domestic practice. The main stages and prerequisites of this process are determined in the context of key historical events in Russia and the world. The characteristics of toys as museum exhibits are presented. The methodological basis of the study is the principles of historicism, scientific objectivity, systematicity and complexity, which allow us to study the historical experience of the formation of private museums in Russia, trends and prospects for the development of this area. The novelty of the study lies in the rethinking of the conceptual foundations of the historical experience of private museums in Russia in the 20th-21st centuries.
