TRANSITION OF PREPOSITIONAL FORMS OF A NOUN INTO THE CATEGORY OF STATE (ON THE EXAMPLE В ПОИСКЕ)

In this article the basic provisions on the category of state are presented. The reasons for the transition of a noun in the prepositional form into the category of state are summarized. The stages of transition of the phrase в поиске in combination with different copulas and objectives are analyzed on the transitivity scale. This analysis contributes to deepening the knowledge of the state category, especially those linguistic units located on the peripheral zone of the state category.
