Fear is one of the primary emotions. Currently, in Western societies, native speakers are increasingly projecting fear as a reaction to a «potential threat». The prime mover of fear is the anticipation of suffering that cannot be prevented. Mentally, fear actors have generalized characteristics: uncertainty, unpredictability and a destructive force that does not obey any social norms and rules. Communion and universality are the characteristic features of fear as a basic emotion. This makes fear an ideal tool for manipulation.
