The article presents an analysis of the program for teaching foreign language training in a military university. As a result of the study, the components of the foreign language teaching program were identified, the purpose of which is to form meta-skills, in particular, cognitive abilities, cultural intelligence and the ability to adapt to changes in the environment, etc. Reflection is considered as a mandatory component of the foreign language teaching program, as a factor contributing to the development of critical thinking and adaptability. The study identified the features of the foreign language teaching program, such as continuous feedback, self-assessment, mutual assessment.
