The article discusses the issues of physical fitness and its features in the preparatory period for the competitive season. The features of this type of training for the women's sports national team are shown on the example of fire and rescue sports. The stage of in-depth sports specialization in fire and rescue sports presupposes the presence of sports experience for those involved from 3 to 5 years. The article provides a comparative analysis of their effectiveness over a two-year period. Specific recommendations are also given on the preparation of a women's sports team in fire and rescue sports.
