EDUCATION 4.0: EXPLORING THE CAPABILITIES OF ROBOTS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF LEARNING

addressing the societal challenges of leveraging a wide range of knowledge and skills to find creative solutions through new, ever-evolving technologies, Education 4.0 offers a transformative approach that combines Industry 4.0 technologies and diverse learning methods. This paradigm provides personalized learning through real-time learner profile assessment and emphasizes the integration of robots into higher education, offering innovative and unprecedented opportunities to enhance the learning experience and skills development. Previous studies show that educational robots are becoming an important technological tool, generating increased learner interest in further development. The aim of the study is to investigate the application characteristics, types of robots used, and analyse the main areas of their implementation in higher education. The study analyses articles from 2020 to 2024 and identifies five keyword clusters: «higher education», «virtual reality», «intelligent robots», «chatbots» and «educational innovation». The findings show that robots have great potential to change the educational process.
