This article is dedicated to the study of the key stages of structuring directive protest hypertext on social platforms. The novelty of the research is in the fact that for the first time the systematization of the mottos of socio-political protest movements in a diachronic approach has been carried out. The relevance of the study is determined by directive nature of protest movements, which is increasingly prevalent today in the second-generation Internet networks. The article pays a special attention to the examples demonstrating how hypertext constructions with verbs in the imperative mood form the social agenda and contribute to the transformation of digital protests into real actions. It is concluded that the directive nature of such digital tokens is becoming key in the course of socio-political campaigns in modern protest communication, providing a correlation between virtual and real activism.
Keywords:directives, social networks, socio-political campaigns, protest movements, hypertext.
