ON THE METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE COMPETENCIES

The article raises the issue of the need to develop tools for the formation of environmental culture of students. The article presents and discusses the results of a study of the methodology for assessing the formation of environmental culture competencies of students, which affect the socio-economic processes of society when interacting with the natural environment, using the author's diagnostic methodology for the age group of 14-17 years (senior classes of educational institutions), which opens up prospects for correcting the worldview of this age group. The author substantiates the possibility of correcting the formation of the diagnosed competencies of the environmental culture of students, eliminating the shortcomings of the creation process and increasing the opportunities for developing training routes for a new generation of citizens of our country, changing goals and filling them with relevant content, using innovative forms and methods of teaching, using diagnostic capabilities to fix certain behavioral patterns of students.
