Diachronic analysis of the value "power"

The article attempts to analyze the value of "power" in the consciousness of Russians of three different generations on the basis if the psychosemantic experiment held by Institute of Linguistic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The diachronic aspect of the analysis of this universal human value showed differences in the valuation of “power” by representatives of different generations, depending on the time of socialization of the individual. The problem of considering “power” as a value or anti-value is discussed.
