Formation of natural and scientific functional literacy of students when teaching chemistry at basic school

The present study is devoted to the problems of the formation of natural science literacy among students in the study of chemistry at basic school. A modern approach to determining the structure and content of the concept of science literacy which is considered as an integrative educational result, is presented.
