The article considers the construct "the readiness of the future coach-teacher for educational work in the youth sport school" as a condition of the development of the cognitive, value and activity spheres of the student's personality due to professional training, which allows purposefully forming the personality of a young athlete in the educational and training process. The readiness of the future coach-teacher for educational work in the youth sport school can be represented in the structural form of a model integrating: in the personal component, in the cognitive component and in the activity component.
The authors have partially developed activity-oriented diagnostic tools for assessing certain aspects of the professional training of future trainers-teachers; means of stimulating students to professional self-development. At the same time, the article touches upon the issues of scientific substantiation of the content of the educational process aimed at the formation of readiness for educational work in the youth school; determination of methods for establishing the level of readiness of future trainers-teachers for educational work in the youth sport school.
