The article analyzes the concepts of "personalization", "individualization", "individual educational route", "individual educational trajectory". Two similar in meaning concepts "individual educational route" and "educational trajectory" of students are the mechanism of individualization and personalization of the educational process. The stages and characteristics of the formation of an individual educational route are revealed, the inconsistency of modern scientific views on the possibility and effectiveness of personalized learning is shown. At the same time, it is noted that personalized education has great advantages that meet the requirements of the labor market of modern society, where specialists are presented with competencies related to the ability to show independence, creative skills in making decisions in non-standard situations. On the basis of which, an understanding of individualization as self-organization, the experience of creativity in educational activities, a higher level of self-realization opportunities, and the actualization of the subject-personal resources of the student are given. In this article, an attempt is made to show the technology of forming an individual educational route from the standpoint of a personality-developing, situational-environmental approach.
