The article defines the problem of moral education of primary school-age children with mild mental retardation. The research methodology of the main components of the moral education of primary school-age children – actional-volitional, emotional-motivational and cognitive – is described. The results of the conducted empirical research are presented in comparison with the results of primary school-age children with normal mental development.
