OBTAINING PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES OF VETERINARY UNIVERSITY STUDENTS DURING THEIR INTERNSHIP

In the context of global changes in the educational environment, there is a visible rethinking of teaching methods and principles in almost all areas of the educational process. Modern students, having already basic skills in computerization and informatization, navigate the educational field more successfully than the previous generation. Approaches to teaching have also changed in the field of medicine, in particular veterinary medicine. In this regard, the main difference between the modern approach and the previously applied one was the orientation of standards on the results of mastering the basic programs in the veterinary specialty through practical training. It is in practice that future veterinarians gain the necessary skills and gain experience.
